What are the document required for import/export?
Export
- Licensed Customs Broker for goods exceeding US$5000.00
- Customs Declaration
- Invoice (s) for the item (s)
- Bill of Lading/Airway Bill
- Detailed Packing List of all items being imported
Import
- Shipping documents such as a Bill of Lading or Airway Bill.
- An authentic invoice from the supplier.
- Import permits or licenses, where applicable.
- A Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC)
- Taxpayer Registration Number (TRN) and a copy of the General Consumption Tax (GCT) Certificate.
- An Original Certificate of Origin, if the goods are being imported from a country with which Jamaica has a Trade Agreement, and for which preferential duty treatment is being claimed.

- Currency base or counterfeit currency of any country.
- All publications of T. Lawrence Scott and the Chicago Institute in the United States relate to divination, magic, ritual or supernatural arts.
