I have been trying this past two day to contact the customs clearance department in Stansted re a parcel which is being held by them but as yet have been unable to do so. Every number I ring says they are unable to help and give me another contact number who again say they cannot help and give me another number. As I say this has been ongoing 2 days and I have not made any progress I just keep being sent round in circles. The tele number for Stansted in this page is unobtainable. Could someone PLEASE give me a Tele number where I can find out why my Parcel – through Fedex – is being held since last week and the current situation with it. Fedex say they cannot help as it is with now with Customs and outside their jurisdiction. Your help would be appreciated as I am at the end of my tether. I just want to know why there is a delay and am not asking for any special favours
I traveled out of Stansted on Sunday 28 th June on a private charter ( to Erbil Iraq via Sofia) and stayed at the airport hotel the night before. I Had the VAT reclaim forms for a Rolex watch I bought (9,550 UKP) at Mapping and Webb Bluewater and I had the watch with me. I went over to the main terminal of the airport on Saturday evening to claim the VAT back from Moneycorp as instructed on the Airport website but the terminal was deserted and there was no one at the Moneycorp booth and no sign of HMRC presence. I am now back in Iraq with the watch where I live and work. Could you please advise if there is a way I can claim the VAT back. I have contacted Moneycorp but they say that need to see a form with an HMRC stamp. I have all the necessary documentation scanned if that helps. Thank you. Dave Scott

My FedEx parcel is stuck in Customs at Stansted and I can’t obtain any information. It has been there for 3 days already and I cannot obtain any information from them – if there is something to pay, how to pay it and when my package will be delivered. They are completely unresponsive.
This is very urgent and I feel that my package and my requests have simply disappeared into a black hole.
My medication as prescribed by my doctor in SA has been sitting at Stanstead since beginning of March. It was all done legally with prescription enclosed in parcel. I need my medicines, or I will die!!! Please get back to me!!!!

My package has been with you since early March. I now see ir is in cusroms ckearance for over 24 hours, maybe longer. I keep asking on here, why the hold up? We followed all legal procedures.
